Oman Power and Water Procurement Co (OPWP) on Tuesday floated a request for proposal (RfP) tender for technical advisory services for the development of the power procurement cycle to meet future demand in the sultanate's Main Interconnected System (MIS). OPWP is seeking proposals from interested bidders to provide technical advisory services for the competitive tendering of power capacity to secure an economic expansion of the MIS capacity to meet future demand in 2021 and beyond. This procurement will follow the current established procurement process and contract structure, OPWP said in an announcement. (Muscat Daily)
