Oman posts trade surplus of OMR942mn at end-September
Oman’s trade surplus stood at OMR942.2mn at the end of September last year, according to National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) data. The total value of the sultanate's commodity exports stood at OMR7.5bn, which was down 28.2% from the same period in 2015, when it stood at OMR10.4bn. Commodity imports stood at OMR6.5bn at the end of September 2016, which fell 21.4 per cent from OMR8.3bn a year earlier. (Muscat Daily)
