The Ministry of Oil and Gas announced the revised fuel prices effective as of 1 June. The committee in charge of studying and fixing the price of oil products on Tuesday approved the new rates, according to which M95 (super) will cost OMR0.180 per litre, M90 (regular) OMR0.170 per litre while diesel will be OMR0.185 per litre. Since January, the price of M95 has gone up by 50%, M90 by 49% and diesel by 27%. Meanwhile, as compared to May, consumers will have to pay 14% extra for regular petrol and 11% for both super grade petrol and diesel in June. (Muscat Daily)
