Oman daily oil production averaged above 1mn barrels per day (bpd) for the first ten months of this year, 2.8 % higher compared with 977,000 bpd achieved in the corresponding period of 2015. According to the statistics released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) on Tuesday, the sultanate sold its crude at an average price of US$38.9 per barrel during the January-October period of 2016, which is 33.7 % lower compared to USD58.6 per barrel a year earlier. Oman's total oil exports during the January-October period increased 4.2 % to 268.7mn barrels in 2016 against 257.9mn barrels in the same period of 2015. (Muscat Daily)
