Oman bourse cuts free-floating days of newly listed stocks
Muscat bourse on Monday said that the exchange has decided to reduce the number of free floating days for newly listed shares to one day from three days earlier. The normal share trading, which is subject to a circuit breaker (which is a safety net) of 10 per cent fluctuation, will be applied from the second day in the case of newly listed shares as well. The circuit breaker should help bring in stability on the Muscat Securities Market as it stops shares going up/down more than 10 per cent in a single trading session. (Times of Oman)
