NUCA: land development duration to be linked to land sizes
The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) has linked the maximum duration for the development of the land plots to be sold through The General Authority for Investment (GAFI) to the size of the land plot. These were set at three years for the 20-feddan plots and five for the 100-feddan plots. Under the terms of the agreements, NUCA will be obliged to extend water lines ahead of the kick-off of construction work and other infrastructure components, as the project’s execution progresses.
