NTRA investigates delay by network operators to offer fixed-line services; mobile operators do not intend to raise top-up card prices
The National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) is investigating why the three mobile network operators are facing delays in offering fixed-line services, Youm7 quoted an anonymous official at the NTRA as saying. This comes after operators received their operating licences two years ago. On a separate note, mobile network operators do not intend to raise top-up card prices following the fuel price increase, Al Mal quoted an anonymous source as saying. The source added that fuel prices do not affect telecom services since they do not require transportation, and that top-up cards do not represent the price of the good, but only a means of payment.
