No plans for fifth player introduction in the market; Egypt to have 5G service by 2020
Operators in Egypt have all agreed to acquire spectrum in the 4G space, and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is not intending to introduce a fifth player in the market, according to CIT Minister, Yasser Al Kady. In related news, Al Kady stated that 5G services would be available in Egypt by 2020. Al Kady made the statement before the Communications and Information Technology Committee of the Parliament.
