New export incentives programme to launch April-June 2019
Egypt’s export councils have agreed to launch the new export incentives program between April and June 2019, according to a local newspaper quoting sources familiar with the matter. The new programme will focus on incentives to grow value-added exports, as well as to push industry to Upper Egypt and to develop shipping and logistics operations. The strategy should be submitted in its final form for Cabinet review soon, and the Trade Ministry will discuss the final details of the program with the Cabinet economic group on Monday, according to the local press.
