Nakheel has announced it has awarded a AED18.5 million contract to local contractors, DX Contracting and National Gulf Construction, to build new access roads at its development, Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC). Construction works will begin in February, for completion in 3Q2016. This followed three contracts worth a total AED27.5 million for traffic signals and road improvements at JVC, awarded in October, to Dubai-based KTC International Contracting. c.20,000 people currently live in LVC, which is set to grow to 300,000, when the development is complete.
