Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) has announced it had awarded 15 construction and infrastructure contracts in Abu Dhabi, worth a total of AED4bn (USD1.1bn). Among the awarded schemes are five in the Western Region town of Madinat Zayed. Local firm Saif Bin Darwish got the AED979.8mn road and infrastructure work serving a housing scheme in the area. The company was also awarded two packages worth AED108.9mn and AED89.7mn for similar work within other areas of Madinat Zayed. A fourth contract for AED738mn of infrastructure work for another residential area in Madinat Zayed was awarded to Kuwait’s Mohammed Abdulmohsin al-Kharafi & Sons Company. Local firm Nael & Bin Harmal Hydroexport Establishment will also execute an AED518.6mn project to set up roads and infrastructure in the same area. Finally, local contractor Ghantoot Transport & General Contracting was awarded a contract for work on an AED600mn road project that will connect the towns of Al-Mirfa and Madinat Zayed. The company has also been awarded an AED108mn road and infrastructure deal across four different phases of the Madinat Zayed area. (MEED)
