Ministry of Housing began works on 34 co-development projects in the past six months to build 70,000 units
Over the past six months, the Ministry of Housing (MOH) has begun works on 34 co-development projects with 24 private companies to build 70,000 residential units, Ahmed Mandour, Head of the MOH’s partnership programme, said. He added that foreign companies have control over 70% of these projects through partnerships and consortiums. The latest (ninth) batch of the Sakeni initiative products has included 13,900 off-plan units, to be built through partnerships with the private sector.
