Officials from the New Administrative City company and real estate developers are reported to have conducted a number of meetings to discuss the mechanism for land pricing at the city. Officials from the New Administrative City company have proposed prices in line with those of the latest NUCA auctions (above the EGP4,000/sqm mark), while real estate development companies referred to the prices of land at Al-Mostakbal City and other areas in the extension of New Cairo as a better benchmark. The parties will hold more meetings over the coming period to discuss the structure of the potential agreements, be it for the sale of land or on revenue-sharing. (Al Borsa)
