MEAHCO announces opening of SGH Ha’il in February 2017
Middle East Healthcare Company (MEAHCO) (4009.SE), owner and operator of Saudi German Hospitals franchise, announced that operations in Saudi German Hospital in Ha’il (owned by National Healthcare Company - NHC) will commence on 16 February 2017. MEACHO owns 32% of NHC, the owner of SGH hospital in Ha’il. Also, as per an earlier announcement, MEAHCO will receive 10% of Saudi German Hospital in Ha’il’s net profit, in return for utilising the “Saudi German Hospital” franchise as per management supervision agreement signed with (NHC). The opening of the new hospital will add to MEAHCO’s capacity, in 2017, 30 clinics, reaching a total of 344 and 150 beds, reaching 987 beds. This is expected to have a financial impact on MEAHCO starting 1Q17; to increase revenue in FY17 by 2.5% and result in share of operating loss of SAR7.5mn. (Tadawul)
