Marriot to invest USD2bn in Saudi Arabia over the next four years
Marriott International (Marriott) will invest USD2bn in Saudi Arabia over the next four years to almost double its number of hotel rooms in the Kingdom to 12,500, according to Alex Kyriakidis, company’s president and MD for the MENA region. He added that construction is now underway on the 6,000 new rooms, and that the company is planning to operate 52 hotels once work is completed, up from 23 now.
