Lulu Group International, the UAE-based retail group, has opened its sixth hypermarket in Bahrain marking the company’s 124th store globally. The new hypermarket is located in New Zinj Galleria Mall and was inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khaled Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and the US, UK, and Indian ambassadors, amongst other officials. It is part of the company’s BD100 million investment plan for Bahrain. The group plans to open two additional hypermarkets by end of 2017 at Saar and Busaidi in Bahrain. (Company disclosure)
