Low occupancy rates in various cities; only minimal improvement expected over Christmas break
Average occupancy rate at Sharm El-Sheikh currently average 12%, continuing to suffer from the travel ban imposed on the city, with not much improvement expected over the Christmas break for the same reason. This is according to Hesham Ali, Head of South Sinai Investors Association. The current average occupancy rate in Luxor is 11%, expected to grow to 15% only over the break, according to Tharwat El-Agamy, Head of Tourism Chamber in Aswan. (Al Borsa)
