Low energy investment could trigger sharp increase in oil price according to UAE minister

The UAE Minister of Energy Suhail Al Mazrouei warned that an energy-industry investment drought could trigger a prolonged increase in the oil price. He said that energy investment, which has fallen by more than USD300bn over the past two years, needs to grow to avoid a major price rise that could undermine market stability. (The National)
