King Fahd Causeway Authority (KFCA) has received an adequate number of bids from local and foreign firms to provide advisory services for the transitional phase of King Hamad Causeway project, acting director general Emad Al-Muhaisen, told Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper on Sunday. The project is estimated to cost around USD3bn and construction works will take 36-48 months. “More offers are expected within the next few days,” Al-Muhaisen said, underlining the commitment to the project schedule. Technical and financial offers will be studied later on ahead of selecting the best bidder, he added.
