Data from the Central Bank of UAE shows that gross loan growth eased to 7.6% Y-o-Y (+0.9% M-o-M) in March 2016 from 7.9% Y-o-Y (0.8% M-o-M) in February 2016. Deposits growth, however, improved to 3.7% Y-o-Y (+2.1% M-o-M) from 2.9% Y-o-Y (flat M-o-M) in February. Year-to-date deposit growth trended in line with loan growth at 2.1%. (Central Bank of UAE)
