Listing of public enterprises in the stock exchange is on IMF-Egypt talk agenda, Investment Minister says
Talks with International Monetary Fund (IMF) included listing of state-owned enterprise on the local stock exchange, Minister of Investment Dalia Khorshid confirmed, adding that the petroleum and banking sectors will be the priority for such listing. A committee composed of Minister of Investment, Minister of Finance and Deputy Head of the Central Bank of Egypt is setting up a list of companies to be listed. The Minister of Public Enterprise, who is in charge of restructuring public enterprises, but against the floatation, was absent from the committee. (Al Masry Al Youm)
