Telecom Egypt (TE) [ETEL.CA] has approved Link ADSL’s request to offer the fixed-line voice service. According to Al Alam Al Youm, the service will be offered virtually through TE’s infrastructure and does not require the approval of the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA). Wassim Arsany, Link ADSL’s CEO stated that his company plans to venture into the bundling business by offering fixed and ADSL services.
