Kuwait’s USD1.7bn power plant starts commercial operations
Kuwait’s Az Zour power plant has started commercial operations, generating 1,539MW. The plant will produce 10% of the country’s electricity output. The power station’s construction began in 2013. Its projected out is set to reach 4,800MM. (Bloomberg)
