Kuwait minister briefs cabinet on Brexit’s impact on Kuwait
Kuwait’s Finance Minister Anas al-Saleh briefed cabinet on the impact of Brexit on Kuwait. He said that Kuwaiti investments in the UK are mainly in real estate, infrastructure, assets and stocks. He further said that Kuwait’s investments in the UK are long-term in nature. He said that he can’t rule out impact on investments “for the time being” resulting from exchange rates and borrowing costs. He also said that Kuwait central bank is ready to take steps to ensure domestic stability. (Bloomberg)
