Kuwait considering domestic energy price reforms, according to state oil company
The CEO of state oil firm Kuwait Petroleum – Nizar Al-Adsani - said that Kuwait is considering several options for energy subsidy reforms, but any increase in domestic prices would not impact citizens’ livelihood. He further said that the government is studying various options including review of domestic petroleum products in the domestic market. He also said subsidies would be taken out gradually from gasoline and kerosene, likely from the first quarter of 2016. (Reuters)
