The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that KSA’s Minister of Energy and the Makkah Region Development Authority agreed to start the Faisaliah solar project in Mecca. The first phase for the 600MW facility will be tendered this year. The Public Investment Fund (PIF) and its partners will develop the remaining 2,000MW capacity.
