KSA to appoint advisers for plant privatisation in 45 days
Saudi Arabia’s Saline Water Conversion Corp. (SWCC) is expected to pick financial advisers for the privatization of its plants in 45 days, according to Abdurahman AlZoghaibi, advisor to the Minister of Environment. “The privatization program reached an advanced stage,” AlZoghaibi said. In 2016, KSA’s government announced plans to privatize the Kingdom’s second-largest power provider, which operates nearly 30 desalination plants and currently produces about 20% of the world's desalinated water.
