KSA POS & ATM transactions up 4% Y-o-Y in February 2019
The value of point-of-sale (POS) transactions in Saudi Arabia increased 27% Y-o-Y in February 2019 (-10% M-o-M), while ATM cash withdrawals were down 2% Y-o-Y (-13% M-o-M). Combined, the value of POS and ATM transactions grew 4% Y-o-Y (-12% M-o-M) in February 2019. YTD, the value of POS and ATM transactions increased 6% Y-o-Y with the value of POS transactions was up 29% and ATM cash withdrawals remained flat.
