The Royal Commission for Jubail signed a notice to allocate a site to construct and operate a vehicle-assembly plant in Jubail Industrial City, in cooperation with the Saudi National Automobile Manufacturing Company (SNAM) and South Korean company SsangYong, the Center for International Communication (CIC) said in a tweet on Tuesday. The SAR700mn assembly plant will have an annual production capacity of 10-30k cars and will create 300 direct jobs, the tweet said.
