Knowledge Economic City delivers land to International Medical Centre Company
Knowledge Economic City (KEC) has announced the delivery of a 20,276-sqm-land plot to the International Medical Centre Company, after a four-year delay on prolonged discussions on the possibility of a land exchange or expansion and to delays in enabling infrastructure on the northern part of the project. The total transaction value is SAR22.8mn, to be paid over seven years. cSAR9.9mn were collected, while the balance will be collected over four equal installments (SAR3.2mn each) payable in September of every year through 2019. Collected amounts will be reported as ‘income’ on the income statement. (Tadawul)
