KIPCO earnings grow 8% Y-o-Y in 2Q16, driven by revenue growth
Kuwait Investment and Projects Company (KIPCO) [KPROJ.KK] posted 2Q16 preliminary figures, with earnings growing 8% Y-o-Y to reach KWD14.5mn, which the company attributed to higher revenue and operating profit from the group’s core businesses despite challenging economic conditions in the region. Revenue for 1H16 increased 8% to KWD328mn.The company remains on track to report single-digit growth for 2016, the disclosure added. (Company disclosure)
