King Khalid airport passengers up 5% Y-o-Y in 2016; King Abdulaziz passengers up 3% Y-o-Y
Passengers travelling through King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) increased 5% Y-o-Y in 2016 to 23.4mn passengers, with 12mn domestic passengers and 11.2mn international passengers. The number of flights rose 7% Y-o-Y to 198,800 flights during 2016. Meanwhile, passengers travelling through King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) were up 3% Y-o-Y in 2016 to 31mn passengers, while the number of flights also increased 3% Y-o-Y to 218,200 flights.
