The KIMA 2 plant will be inaugurated on 30 June, KIMA Chairman Emad El Din Mostafa announced. He added that the project is 99% complete and that the ammonia unit is starting to load its catalyst, with expectations of it starting by next month. The urea plant, on the other hand, is slated to begin operations on 25 June. The plant would produce 1,200 tonnes of ammonia and 1,375 tonnes of urea per day, with a cost of EGP11.6bn. (Egypt Today)
