Khaleej Training (4290.SE) announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Arab National Investment Company (ANB Invest) to set up a real estate investment trust (REIT) with the objective of building and buying educational buildings to develop the educational sector in the region. Khaleej Training is planning to transfer six of its properties to the new fund under the name: Gulf Education REIT, including three schools, two training centres, and the company’s head office in Riyadh. The company is working with the fund manager to complete the required procedures and will announce the financial impact of the REIT once the final agreement is signed.
