ISF posts 4.5% growth in first half; turnover drops 21%
Oman’s Investment Stabilization Fund (ISF), which assists in stabilising market movement and boosting liquidity in the Muscat Securities Market (MSM), posted 4.52% growth in net asset value for the six-month period ended June 30, 2016. The fund, however, underperformed the benchmark MSM30 index, which posted 6.86% growth over the same period. The fund’s net asset stood at OMR104.45mn. ISF's turnover during the first six months of 2016 dropped 21% to OMR557.41mn from OMR707.39mn a year earlier. (Muscat Daily)
