Investment Ministry retains NI Capital to advise on state assets sale, targets USD10bn in 3 years
Government-owned NI Capital will advise on plans to float shares of state-owned companies in the domestic and int’l stock market, Investment Minister Dalia Khorshid said. The programme aims to expand the ownership base in public companies to improve transparency and strengthen corporate governance, bringing cUSD10bn over the next three years, the Minister added. NI Capital will engage in a three-month planning stage during which they will partner with local investment banks to set up a preliminary list of companies that could be listed, and then set timelines and strategy.
