International gateway and fixed-line operator Telecom Oman acquires MVNO Renna Mobile
Telecom Oman (TeO), an international gateway and fixed-line operator in Oman has acquired a 100% stake in mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), Renna Mobile. The move will broaden TeO’s services to include mobile data and voice services. Renna Mobile has more than 500,000 active subscribers, according to Khalid Zaman, Board Director at TeO. TeO intends to bid for the potential third mobile network operator (MNO) licence in Oman. (Zawya)
