Initiative to support tourism sector extended to year-end
The Central bank of Egypt (CBE) has approved a six-month extension to the initiative to the tourism sector to end in December 2016, whereby banks are allowed to defer payments due on touristic entities and on personal loans for individuals working in the tourism segment, without applying penalties throughout this period.
