Inflation steadies at 3.06% Y-o-Y, slows to 0.07% M-o-M in July
Kuwait annual consumer price index remained steady at 3.06% in July compared to June. Food and beverages prices edged down to 1.19% Y-o-Y in July from 1.20% Y-o-Y in June, while housing and utility costs slowed to 2.65% Y-o-Y in July from 2.93% Y-o-Y in June. On a monthly basis, inflation slowed to 0.07% in July from 0.71% in June. Food and beverages prices accelerated 0.46% M-o-M in July after falling 0.13% M-o-M in June, while utility and housing prices dropped 0.14% M-o-M in July after growing 0.68% M-o-M in June.
