Inflation accelerates to 30.2% Y-o-Y, slows to 2.8% M-o-M in February
Urban Consumer Price Index (CPI) jumped to 30.2% Y-o-Y in February from 28.1% Y-o-Y in January, data from CAPMAS showed. Food and beverage prices accelerated to 40.5% Y-o-Y from 37.2% Y-o-Y in January. CPI; however, subsided to 2.6% M-o-M from 4.1% M-o-M in January. Food and beverage prices also slowed on monthly basis to 4.1% M-o-M from 6.8% M-o-M in January.
