HDB expands its branch network to 70 by end-2016, is conducting new NUCA auction in January 2017
The Housing and Development Bank (HDB) increased the number of its branches to 70 by end of 2016, up from 64 in 2015. The bank’s chairperson, Fathi Sebaey, said that HDB intends to continue its expansion plan to reach 100 branches by end of 2018. HDB implemented a new IT banking system across its branches called the T24. Sebaey added that HDB aims to become one of the top five banks in Egypt. Moreover, HDB is currently conducting a lottery for social housing land in 10th of Ramadan City from 9-26 January 2017 on behalf of NUCA. The bank had previously conducted a NUCA public lottery from 17-29 November 2016 on lands located in 15th of May City, Obour City, New Cairo, New Damietta, 6th of October City, Sadat, Burj Al-Arab, 10th of Ramadan City, Badr, Beni Suef, New Sohag, and New Aswan. The bank also conducted a lottery from 8-27 December for the Dar Misr project in New Damietta, New Cairo, Shorouk City, Obour City, 10th of Ramadan, 15th of May, Badr, Sheikh Zayed, 6th October City, and Minya.
