Gov’t to meet next week to set final lineup of state privatisation programme
The Finance Ministry-led committee responsible for pulling together the state privatisation programme will meet next week to decide on the final lineup of companies that will go out in the first wave of the programme, Finance Minister Mohamed Maiet told Al Shorouk. Public Enterprises Minister Hisham Tawfik ordered state-holding companies to expedite procedures to ready their companies for the programme, setting a deadline of three weeks to complete their report on which companies are ready.
