Aldar Properties (Aldar) announced it had completed the development structure of its two projects in Abu Dhabi Al Hadeel in Al Raha Beach and Ansam in Yas Island, while the MEP work and internal block work at the two projects are progressing on schedule and are due to be completed next year. The main contracts for its projects, Shams Meera on Reem Island, Nareel Island and Al Merief in Khalifa City will be announced soon, after the evaluation of the submitted bids is concluded. MEP work had started and is on schedule at Al Jimi Mall expansion project, which will add further 65 stores, including a 10-screen cinema and a retail park, to the existing 94 outlets, bringing the total leasable area to 75,000 sqm. Outside of the UAE, Aldar is on track to deliver its 500,000 sqm Abu Dhabi Plaza project in Astana, Kazakhstan in 1Q17. (The National)
