General Silos reports weak 1Q16/17 earnings of only EGP77,000
General Silos and Storage Company [GSSC.CA] reported its 1Q16/17 financial results, showing very weak earnings of only EGP77,000 compared to earnings of EGP15mn during 1Q15/16. Such remarkable weakness was also seen in revenues, which contracted 57% Y-o-Y to EGP60.7mn from EGP140.7mn in 1Q15/16. Gross profit during 1Q16/17 came in at a loss of EGP1mn compared to profit of EGP31mn in 1Q15/16. (Company disclosure)
