The CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Investment (GAFI), Mohamed Khodear, said that the new investment law offers a golden licence for investors to take part in the national developmental and strategic projects. The licence will be a single certificate that facilitates all procedures, he added. Khodear also pointed to the amendment of liquidation and bankruptcy laws, adding that that the ministries of Investment and Finance will reach a decision regarding special free zones within 24 hours.
