Four local companies win six contracts for EGP1bn electricity projects
Six contracts worth EGP1bn have been awarded to four local companies by the Upper Egypt Electricity Distribution Company (UEEDC). The four companies are Kahromecha, Elsewedy Electric, Giza Cables Industries and Arab Contractors. The companies, which are meant to sign the contracts for their respective projects next month, will be asked to develop and expand low- and medium-voltage networks in Sohag, Qena, Luxor and Aswan within a six-month timeframe.
