Foreigners bought USD250mn in Egypt T-Bills, stocks on Sunday
Foreign investors bought more than USD250mn in Egyptian T-Bills and equities on Sunday. “In the past few weeks, we’ve been seeing persistent and growing inflows across equities and fixed income,” Rami Aboul Naga, assistant sub-governor at the bank, said on Monday. Foreign holdings of T-bills grew to EGP10.2bn pounds (USD552mn) in December, up from EGP989mn in October. (Bloomberg)
