Finance Ministry delegation goes on non-promotional roadshow for Eurobond issuance
The Finance Ministry began procedures for the issuance of the upcoming Eurobond scheduled for Asian markets. Al Borsa reported that a delegation, spearheaded by Deputy Minister Ahmed Kouchouk, is currently on a non-promotional roadshow around Asian markets. The delegation aims to meet with investors to inquire about the appropriate timing and pricing for the bond issuance. Egypt intends to issue Eurobonds worth USD3-4bn during FY18-19. Sources also told Al Borsa that the authorities intend to issue the bonds next month if market conditions remain appropriate.
