Federation of Egyptian Industries proposes 1% tax on net profit to fund Universal Healthcare Act
The Federation of Egyptian Industries proposed to the Finance Ministry an amendment to the taxes related to the Universal Healthcare Act following the objections of several business owners. The proposed amendment would see companies pay a 1% tax on their net profit rather than 0.25% on revenue to fund the Universal Health Act.
