Expats in Kuwait now allowed to manage more than one company
Expats in Kuwait are now allowed to be hired as managers in more than one company thanks to a decision by Minister of Social Affairs and Labour and State Minister for Planning and Development Hind Al-Subaih. The move was based on a recommendation by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, reported Arabic news daily Al-Rai. Previous regulations had only permitted expats to be hired as managers in the same company which sponsored their visas. They could not be assigned to manage other companies even if they fell under the same group. (Arabian Business)
